WORKSHOP

‘Portrait’
with SARAH-JANE WORRALL

£45 per person

A Portrait workshop with professional actor and artist's model ‘SJ’ (Sarah-Jane Worrall).

For this portrait workshop, you can use any medium you like. SJ will pose for us in one of her beautiful Georgian costumes. We’ll start with several short poses for warm-up and sketching, then the group will choose longer poses to work from.

Timetable

We plan to start the workshop between 10 and 10:15 am. SJ will begin by offering several poses for you to use in warm-up sketches with pencil or charcoal.

Next, we’ll choose one or two poses for longer studies in whichever medium you prefer. You’ll be able to take photos of SJ to use as reference during and after the workshop.

Hot drinks and biscuits will be available all day. While SJ can sit still for quite a while, we’ll take regular short breaks for her comfort.

We’ll break for lunch at 12:30, so please bring a packed lunch.

After we pack up in the afternoon, we’ll have a chance to look at the work created during the day. We expect to finish by 3:45 to 4 pm.
