SPRING EXHIBITION

PARTNERS IN ART

Long Gallery, Black Swan Arts

We’re excited to invite you to participate in our Spring Exhibition 2026. This year, we’re celebrating an amazing milestone—Black Swan Arts’ 40th anniversary!

Join us in the Long Gallery for five wonderful weeks, from Saturday 16 May to Sunday 21 June.

Submissions are now open. The deadline for entries is Tuesday, 5 May, 16:00. Before submitting your entries, please ensure you have read the 2026 Entry Requirements.

We can’t wait to see your creativity on display!

‘Artist at Work’

Would you like the opportunity to talk to the public about your work? Would you be willing to work in the Long Gallery for a session during the exhibition? There will be a table or easel space available for you.

Please get in touch with exhibitions@fromeartsociety.com for more information.

Vera Skinner Prize

There is an opportunity to win a ‘Vera Skinner Prize!’
This award will celebrate the artists behind three stunning artworks in the exhibition. An invited independent artist (who isn’t a member of the Society) will help us choose the winners based on what they feel is outstanding.

In addition, three entries will be recognised with the highly commended status; however, they will not receive any prize money.

Best of luck to all the artists!

Members can submit:

  • up to two pieces of artwork (paintings, ceramics, sculpture, textiles). Artwork must be well presented.

  • Sizes are limited; the limitations for exhibition artwork are: a maximum combined height and width of 140 cm, including the frame if applicable. For example, 70x70 cm, 60x80 cm and 50x90 cm. Same for sculptures or ceramics.
