    • SIZES ARE LIMITED; the limitations for exhibition artwork are: a maximum combined height and width of 140 cm, including the frame if applicable. For example, 70x70 cm, 60x80 cm and 50x90 cm. Same for sculptures or ceramics.

    • All exhibition artwork must be original; reproduction prints are not acceptable.

    • NO CHANGES can be made to entries after submission. Frome Art Society are not responsible for artwork sales this year, as we are using the Black Swan Arts till payment system. Hence, the details of your SUBMISSION ENTRIES NEED TO BE CORRECT AND CANNOT BE CHANGED.

    • All exhibition artworks for sale must be priced in whole pounds, with a recommended minimum sale price of £40.

    • The Society will retain a 20% COMMISSION on all artwork sales. Please allow for the frame cost and our commission in your sale price. There is no commission on card sales.

    • While every reasonable effort will be made to ensure the security of the exhibition, all pieces accepted for the exhibition will be shown entirely at the artists’ risk. Some artworks will be hung in the gallery stairwell and will be unattended at times. Artists are responsible for insuring their own work. Frome Art Society and Black Swan Arts will not accept liability for any loss or damage to works that may occur during the exhibition.
We recommend taking out insurance with SAA.
